Be a part of the Bisq DAO genesis distribution

As you may have heard, we’re gearing up to launch the Bisq DAO—a decentralized autonomous organization that will fund and govern the future development of the Bisq exchange.

An integral part of the Bisq DAO is the new BSQ token, and if you've contributed in the past to Bisq / Bitsquare, you are eligible to receive BSQ tokens in our upcoming genesis distribution.

What counts as a contribution?

Anything that has added value to Bisq over its 3 ½ year history. Perhaps you’ve committed code, filed bugs, answered questions on our forum, promoted Bisq via Twitter, or simply been an active trader on the platform. All of these things and more count as contributions.

What will BSQ tokens be good for?

BSQ will be used to:

• Vote on changes to Bisq;
• Pay Bisq contributors for their work;
• Pay Bisq trading fees at a steeply discounted rate.

And naturally, BSQ will be traded on the Bisq exchange like any other token or cryptocurrency.

Ok, how do I receive my BSQ?

It’s easy. Fill out the BSQ token distribution application form, and we’ll follow up with you as the genesis distribution date approaches.

Please note, the application deadline is Monday, July 31st.
